Sixers Links

Here's an awesome article on my boy, Sammy D.

John Hollinger breaks down the Summer's signings.

Louis Williams, on the other hand, looks like a bargain at five years for $26 million. He is in his third year out of high school and has improved every year, and when you put him side by side with Ellis, there doesn't seem to be $40 million worth of difference.

That was by far, Ed's best move. In four years when Lou is making mid-level exception money, he'll be vastly underpaid.

An Atlantic '08-'09 preview.

Last year’s biggest splash in free agency came from the Orlando Magic signing Rashard Lewis. They improved from 40 wins to 52. Look for a similar jump this year from the Sixers.

That's a very good point. If Rashard Lewis is worth 12 wins in the East, than surely Elton is worth 12 or more. The Magic had an improving star in Dwight. We have one in Iguodala. Not to mention how much better EB is than Lewis, as well as the rest of our team for that matter.

A monster Sixers' preview from HoopsWorld.

More top 50 list updates from SLAMonline and Fanhouse, Fanhouse and Fanhouse.

I can't believe Josh Smith is 17 spots higher than Iguodala. Ridiculous. As for the SLAMonline list, if Jermaine O'Neal is number 42, Elton better be on the list.
